Dr. Jon Ward, MD
Jon R. Ward, MD, is the current president of The Bays County Medical Society. Dr. Ward is a Board-Certified Dermatologist providing comprehensive care of all problems related to the skin. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, a member of the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, and a Fellow of the American Society for Mohs Surgery. Dr. Ward was raised in DeFuniak Springs, FL and is a graduate of Walton High School. After being accepted into an early admissions program at the University of Florida College of Medicine, he received his medical degree in 2001. Dr. Ward completed his dermatology residency at the University of Massachusetts in 2005 and was selected Chief Resident in his final year. Dr. Ward's special interest is in cosmetic dermatology and skin cancer surgery. He is one of the area's most experienced injectors of Botox, Juvederm, and Radiesse. He also has the newest lasers for skin rejuvenation, hair removal, and tattoo removal. Dr. Ward was honored by New Beauty magazine as a Top Beauty Doc and is the only physician in the Florida Panhandle with the distinction.
