About The Bays Medical Society (TBMS)

The Bays Medical Society is a 501(c)(6) not-for-profit organization that actively seeks opportunities to serve both the medical community, as well as patients of Bay County, Florida. One of our foundations is to provide high-quality, cost-effective educational programs to the physicians in and around Bay County.

The Bays Medical Society began serving the physicians and health care providers of Bay and surrounding counties in 1947. Over the years, services provided by TBMS have evolved to meet the growing needs of the physicians it serves. TBMS also works with BayCares, which coordinates over $1 million in free health care services annually to the indigent population of this community. Another service is the annual "Dr. Byron McCormick Free School Physicals" program for children that play sports in the Bay County School System.

We challenge all physicians in Bay and surrounding counties to join TBMS, not just for the many benefits for yourselves, but also as a way of giving back to the community and to your colleagues.
